FAQ

How much does SuitLink cost?
Nothing. It’s completely free. There are no hidden costs, subscription fees or charges for any of our services. We don’t even charge companies to post job listings. As a result we can work to gather the largest number of companies and build the biggest and most effective community possible. We do not charge and we pride ourselves on this.

How does SuitLink make money?
At present, we don’t. We are a non-profit community founded on a passion for networking, professionalism, equality in the workplace and the idea that the more connected our world the better we can be. In the near future we are planning to implement advertising on a limited scale to support our server and upkeep costs. However, any plans to do this will be extremely considered and with ensuring we do not impact, nor diminish the SuitLink community, platform or solutions.

Will my profile appear on search engines?
Absolutely not. We are acutely aware that a number of our professionals wouldn’t want to draw attention to the fact that we are an LGBT community and as a result we hide all profile pages from the public and never grant access to search engines. In the future we may roll out a privacy option for those who would like to allow search engines to find their profiles. However, by default, all profiles are hidden away.

How do you ensure professionalism across your network?
We monitor content closely. We never act without informing our community members but we encourage any member who sees inappropriate content to report it immediately. We remove inappropriate content as soon as possible, block those who do not both acknowledge and respect the rules and work closely with our members to keep the tone appropriate.

Can I block someone from contacting me?
At present you cannot block someone yourself. However, you can request this here. If you have received any messages that you do not wish to receive please inform us and we will take appropriate action. The platform options do allow you to stop anyone who you are not directly connected with to message you.

I’ve forgotten my password, what do I do?
We have a password reset tool for your convenience which can be accessed through the home page of the website. This will allow you to reset your password using your email address. If you no longer have access to your email address please contact us here and we will be able to support you.

I’ve forgotten my username, what do I do?
No problem at all. You can actually use your email address rather than username to login. If you would like to know what your username is after you’ve logged in simply visit your profile page and have a look at the URL. Your username will appear there.
